Apple’s native Shortcuts app can be used to perform actions that aren’t built into an iPhone, and to automate tasks to get things done. One of the things you can do with Shortcuts is create a collage in a pattern of your choosing.
While there is a Photo Grid shortcut in the Gallery section of the app, it has one major flaw: it only combines photos horizontally, so your photos will be stacked next to each other. This isn’t a great way to create collages, as selecting a large number of photos will only create a thin row of photos that can be unwieldy to view.
