The 2024 Pokémon World Championships are underway in Honolulu, Hawaii, and like in previous years, there will be an exclusive pop-up Pokémon Center store filled to the brim with merchandise available for purchase only by competitors and local residents.

Hawaii isn’t exactly a local or affordable destination for many people, so not many will ever set foot inside this Pokémon Center, let alone enjoy the many experiences it has to offer starting August 16. So we thought we’d give you a sneak peek.

Thanks to The Pokémon Company International, who sent Dot Esports to the World Championships this year, we got the chance to explore the center at our leisure, spend way too much money, and see what was on offer this time around.

Entering Pokémon Centers is always an experience. The tension builds in a sea of people buying up all the exclusive items, the odd scalper trying to earn back his Hawaii vacation money, and the odd family having a good time.
