One of the most exciting aspects of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the impactful, branching narrative at the heart of the game. Periodically throughout Valhalla’s rich, almost grim narrative, you’ll be presented with some serious choices that will directly impact the game’s ending. One such choice comes early on, when players are asked a question about the basics of Viking finance.

Early in the game, players are presented with such a choice in the Seas of Fate mission, where they must either take or leave resources before setting sail for England.

After Sigurd has everyone in stitches about chopping off the head of a snake called the English monarchy and leaving for England, there is debate over what to do with the loot the Kjotve has gained in the attack. Take the loot to fund your campaign against Harald, or leave the resources behind and pull yourself up by your own hair when you land there.

Eivor wants to take them. Sigurd wants to leave them for Sigurd Senior. What do you do?
