Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula has called on the public to help the flood victims.

The archdiocese said Friday (July 26) that Advincula has issued a circular, dated July 25, encouraging “the faithful to take up a second collection during all Masses on July 27, 2024 (Saturday) and the entire day of July 28, 2024 (Sunday).”
“He also asked priests, consecrated men and women and lay leaders to continue to show compassion to the victims of the typhoon, the poor, the hungry and all people in need,” the archdiocese said.
It was noted that the circular instructed that the donations should be remitted to the Auditor General of the Archdiocese of Manila no later than August 7, 2024.
