Alienware x16 R1 series introduces a new edition with a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU. The same variant features an i9-13900 HK CPU model followed by similar specs. The Alienware x16 R1 model we tested comes in Lunar Silver with Alienware LED branding on the back. This gives the laptop a serious look, making the model specifically stand out as unique, given that it is a premium device. On the front, you’ll find a 16-inch QHD display that produces a maximum resolution of 2560×1600 @240Hz. Shown underneath is the AlienFX RGB Backlit CherryMX mechanical gaming keyboard. Due to the small form factor, there are no dedicated number pad. Gaming is smooth on the keyboard and the backlighting adds a vibrant look to the whole model.
Below the keyboard is the RGB Touchpad, this stays in sleep mode and wakes up when touched. This multi-touch gesture touchpad features LED AlienFX Lightning. All connectivity ports are on the back, which makes it much easier to use on a desk setup. Here is a list of all the connectivity ports.
