Diablo 4 now has Pets. While they’re (sadly) not minions that fight alongside you, they’re useful for automatically collecting gold and materials for you. Here are all the Pets currently available in the game and how to get them.
Diablo 4 Guide – Early Game Pet!
There are currently four Pets you can unlock in Diablo 4. Starting on June 10th, when you log into a character you’ll be given the Faithful Companion quest in Kyovashad. Follow the map marker to the northwest of the city to find a dog and interact with it to show it some love. It’s Asheara, and he’ll join you for free and unlock the Pet feature in your Wardrobe.
To unlock Hratli, Natalya, and Alkor, pre-order Diablo 4’s upcoming expansion, Vessel of Hatred. The expansion comes in three different editions, each of which grants you a different pet. To unlock all three, you’ll need to shell out $89.99 for the Ultimate Edition. The $59.99 Deluxe Edition grants you Hratli and Alkor, while the $39.99 Standard Edition grants you just Alkor. All pets will be available to pick up from your wardrobe immediately after you complete your DLC purchase.
It’s unclear when or how Blizzard will add more Pets in future updates. Based on how mount skins are added, Pets will likely be available as purchases in the Shop or as free rewards during special events, such as between seasons or on the game’s anniversary. We’ll update this story as new Pets are added to Diablo 4.
