In addition to introducing new features and updates with Android 12, Google is also apparently working on expanding existing gesture navigation across the entire operating system. One such feature that is being worked on is the “swipe for notification” gesture.

How to enable or disable swipe down for notification panel

The Pixel launcher already allowed users to swipe down on their home screen and pull down the notification bar. But now that feature is being extended system-wide, giving users quick access to the top bar, even when they’re in an app.

The second preview, a month after Developer Preview 1, lets users test out this expanded "swipe for notification" gesture feature. Here's what it looks like and how to enable it (if you have DP2 on your phone).

By default, this feature is disabled on DP2. You need to enable it manually via the Gesture Settings menu. Follow the steps below to do this.
