Angelina Jolie has won the Toronto International Film Festival Tribute Award at Impact Media.

The honor, presented by Anne-Marie Canning, recognizes leadership in creating a union between social impact and cinema. Previous winners include Pedro Almodóvar, Mira Nair and Alanis Obomsawin.

Jolie will receive the award at the 2024 TIFF Tribute Awards on Sunday, September 8. The actress will be honored alongside Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Durga Chew-Bose, David Cronenberg, Clément Ducol and Camille, Jharrel Jerome, Mike Leigh and Zhao Tao, with Sandra Oh serving as the fundraising gala's first honorary chair.
