Apex Legends Season 22, Shockwave, is almost here. And with a new map to explore, new weapon combinations to try out, and some brand new modes and features coming to the game, there’s already plenty to keep track of in the patch notes.

E-District is the newest battle royale map in Apex, and unlike its predecessors, it’s a fully urbanized map. Described as densely populated and with a focus on verticality, E-District’s locations range from fancy plazas filled with cherry blossoms and lily pad ponds to old-town markets with food stalls and even some industrial areas. One thing remains the same, though: this city is beautiful and filled with lights to help you through the darkness. Get ready for a hot drop.
Zone Overcharge: Controller Legends gain a passive ability that grants them an additional 25 shields when playing in the Ring. It will never raise a Legend’s shields above Mythic rarity (Red).
Legendary controllers can also pick up undamaged tactical abilities remotely, such as Caustic Traps or Rampart's Amped Cover.
