With Apple's next major event likely just a month or two away, Bloomberg's Apple expert Mark Gurman looks ahead to what could be the biggest year ever for new hardware.

As Gurman explains, Apple typically unveils smaller updates and products in the spring, unveils new software in the summer, and launches most of its hardware in the fall. It’s a strategy meant to build anticipation for new products and increase the likelihood of a lucrative holiday season. However, Gurman also believes that a series of filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission could indicate that Apple has a larger lineup planned for its spring event.

The 12 filings Consomac discovered include three unreleased iPhone models and nine unreleased iPad models. For now, the listings only reveal identifying numbers like “A2595” and “A2766,” so the specs and performance are still a mystery.

While Apple's intentions are still uncertain, Gurman is confident that the company will announce (and subsequently release) a comprehensive product line in 2022. But for now, we can't know for sure whether Apple plans to unveil any of these devices earlier than normal in the spring or whether it has announced its planned fall lineup early.
