Former Electoral Commissioner and P3PWD party candidate Rowena Guanzon indicated that she is confident that Senator Ronald Dela Rosa will keep his word and not seek asylum to avoid arrest in connection with the charges he faces at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“Panindigan ni Bato yan, atapang alalake sya eh,” Guanzon said in a message on X on Monday.
She made her comments in a news report about the possible arrest warrant against Dela Rosa, amid the ICC's investigation into the Duterte administration's bloody war on drugs.
Dela Rosa was chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) when former President Rodrigo Duterte launched his campaign against drugs.
