Update: The Russo Brothers are officially directing both upcoming Avengers films. Alongside the news, Marvel confirmed that the casts of Captain America 4, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Thunderbolts* will all appear in the two films.
BREAKING The Russo Brothers to Direct AVENGERS 5 & AVENGERS SECRET WARS
Avengers 5 will be called Avengers Doomsday and will be released in May 2026, while Avengers 6 will officially be called Avengers Secret Wars and will be released in May 2027. Most excitingly, Robert Downey Jr. is returning to play Doctor Doom as the main villain of the films (more info here).
