Barry Diller has slammed security measures in central Paris ahead of Friday's opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games, which will break with tradition and be held on the Seine rather than in a stadium.

France has launched an unprecedented security operation, sending 45,000 police officers and 18,000 soldiers to the French capital.
