There are several abilities in Soulmask, and most of them are tied to Masks. While you can choose a starter Mask when creating your character, some of the best Masks are unlocked later in the game.

The most powerful masks in Soulmask offer different bonuses to strengthen your character by boosting specific attributes and providing buffs. While there are clear favorites in Soulmask, I’ve had a hard time finding the right one for me since I still haven’t decided on a concrete path, but it looks like my love of archery will eventually win out.
Civilization is a starting Mask in Soulmask, and it's probably the best all-rounder in the game. It provides essential stats for Fighters, and it's relatively easy to obtain in the game even if you don't choose it as a starting Mask.
