After graduating from a famous foreign university with an architecture degree, Gu Yi Zhong returns to his hometown of Suzhou. Although he works as a cultural custodian, he has bigger plans. He actively participates in anti-Japanese activities, especially during the Chinese War of Resistance against Japanese troops.
Eventually, the Japanese accuse Gu Yi Zhong of treason to break his spirit. After failing to prove his innocence, he takes an oath to take revenge by overthrowing the Japanese army. To achieve this goal, he becomes a secret member of the Suzhou Secret Service Station and forms a strong team.
