Bridgerton has tapped Yerin Ha to play the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) in the fourth installment of Shonda Rhimes' Netflix series.

Sources confirmed to Deadline that Ha will play the role of Sophie Beckett, who has a slow-blooming romance with Benedict in Julia Quinn's novel An Offer From a Gentleman, on which Season 4 will be based.

According to Netflix's official logline: "The fourth season of Bridgerton focuses on bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his older and younger brothers both happily married, Benedict has no desire to settle down — until he meets a glamorous Lady in Silver at his mother's masked ball."

The “Lady in Silver” is Sophie. In the novel, she is the daughter of a count and one of his maids. Although she was raised in his house out of a sense of responsibility, he never claimed her as his kin and let her have a rather difficult upbringing at the hands of her stepmother and stepsisters.
