In the Bracket Stage qualifying match, the NA team was defeated by PSG Talon and was eliminated from the competition, which undoubtedly led to a lot of emotional reactions from League fans. In the post-match press conference, top laner for the North American team, Gabriel “Bwipo” Rau, called for some “recovery space” for his teammates, while heavily criticizing his own performance in the match.

"I don't care if people are hard on me because I'm just the hardest person on myself," Bwipo continued. "So whatever fans think or say, I thought about it a long time before they did, and I'm already trying to be better."

The top laner commented on the pressure he puts on himself during crucial matches, stating that he doesn't walk on stage to play a match he's not "actively trying to win." However, Bwipo also said that putting this pressure on his teammates "may have negatively affected their performance today" before apologizing for the outcome.
