Cartoon Network has closed its website | What does this mean for the future of the channel?

The Cartoon Network website is no more. A week after Warner Bros. Discovery announced it was shutting down its Boomerang streaming service, the company has also pulled all content from cartoonnetwork.com and redirected visitors to Max.

“Looking for episodes of your favorite Cartoon Network shows? See what’s available to stream on Max (subscription required),” a pop-up message on the new Max landing page reads. “Sign up for Max, where you can also create a Kids Profile with rating restrictions and added privacy protections to keep it fun and kid-friendly! Cable subscribers, keep enjoying your favorite CN programming on your TV and connected apps!”

Cartoon Network's website has previously featured full episodes and video clips from shows including Teen Titans GO!, Steven Universe, Craig of the Creek and more, as well as games.
