Channel 4 is using AI for its latest major reality series: a series in which singles must tell the truth or lose prize money.
The Honesty Box [working title] for E4, presented by Vicky Pattison and Lucinda Light, is the network’s latest show to be funded by the controversial pot and uses AI-enhanced software to help expose liars.
Singletons meet in paradise in search of love with a prize pool of £100,000 ($130,000) up for grabs. Each day, they are confronted with the Honesty Box software, asking probing questions about their feelings. If it detects deceit, the Box could affect their newly formed relationship and the prize pool. The show follows the recent trend set by Too Hot to Handle and Squid Game: The Challenge, where prize pools shrink rather than build over the course of the series.
