"Deadpool & Wolverine" features a ton of memorable Deadpool variations, from Lady Deadpool (voiced by Blake Lively) to NicePool (Ryan Reynolds) and beyond, but there's one variation that didn't make it into the big screen version of the Marvel blockbuster that would likely have made comic book fans' heads explode: Wolverpool. Or maybe it's Deadverine.

Ryan Reynolds recently shared a post on his Instagram story from "Deadpool & Wolverine" concept artist David Masson, which recreates the design that was planned for Wolverpool before it was decided not to include this Deadpool variation in the film. The character sports the Deadpool costume with an upgraded Wolverine mask and, of course, Wolverine's adamantium claws.

Wolverpool wasn't the only designed variant that didn't make it into the film. Masson also shared concept art for Punkpool, a Deadpool variant with a spiked leather jacket and some serious anarchic energy.
