Death Must Die's Act Two was recently released and added a huge amount of new content, including a new character, a map, a Goddess, and tier two items. The Genie Ring is one of the new items that can be obtained during a run, but the description does little to help players understand what it does.

The Genie Ring doesn’t seem to do anything yet. It’s a unique tier two mythic item, meaning you can only find it as loot during a run; you can’t buy it from the shopkeeper in the starting area. If you’re lucky enough to find it, you’ll notice that the description doesn’t explain what bonus stats the player will receive, simply stating “I can’t figure it out yet,” followed by “The Black Genie’s lazy cousin.”
The Black Genie may be referring to the Black Lamp, another unique tier two mythic item. Unlike the Genie Ring, it's an impressively powerful item to obtain. Here are the Black Lamp stats in Death Must Die:
As you can see, the summon mentions the number three, which could mean that in addition to the lamp and the ring, a third item released to the genies would be needed to form a set and possibly activate the ring. However, players were unable to find another item that would fit into the set.
