Destiny 2 players have had a lot of questions about The Final Shape's upcoming class items, and Bungie provided some answers today in a lengthy blog post. The recurring This Week in Destiny (TWID) post outlined all the possible combinations for each class, including a hint at their drop source.

TWID outlined a full table of benefits for each class, with similarities and differences between them. Each class entry has two columns with eight roles, so it can be tricky to get the perfect role you want.

Luckily for Guardians, Bungie gave a sneak peek at their drop source in The Final Shape: an as-yet-unnamed post-campaign activity that's farmable and will reward "a guaranteed random drop every time you complete it," the studio wrote. That activity launches in the second week of the expansion.

Getting your exact role can be time-consuming, especially depending on the challenge level of the upcoming activity. However, Guardians have the advantage of not encountering time gates when trying to farm for class items, making it easier to get the class items they need.
