Destiny 2's Into the Light update has been generally well-received by players, aside from one major flaw that's so bad that some are wondering if it was a mistake.

The wave-based cooperative PvE mode Onslaught has been a huge hit with gamers, but the fact that you can’t reset your reputation with the vendor, Lord Shaxx, has players scratching their heads at best and angered at worst.

Most other activity-specific vendors in Destiny 2 let you reset their Reputation level, allowing you to earn rewards again. Not only does Shaxx not reset, but once you hit max level, you stop earning engrams. And players are fed up.

“I feel like the only way to get loose BRAVE Engrams is to come off the bounties now is absolutely shortsighted of Bungie, just like not allowing us to reset our rank with Shaxx in the Hall of Champions, especially with how much loot we’re getting over the next two weeks,” one player said in an April 17 Reddit post. “Can Bungie PLEASE respond to confirm if this was intentional or not, instead of radio silence on the matter?”
