Destiny 2's first episode of the post-season model era continues tomorrow with Echoes, Act Two, and a new trailer today gave a taste of what's to come.

The first act of Echoes ends abruptly with Saint-14 being taken over by some entity known as the Conductor. It seems we won't meet the new villain character until the second act.
The trailer showcases the three new Battlegrounds activities that are the major gameplay additions in the act, including two on day one and a third that will be added in week two. Battlegrounds are similar to Strikes in Destiny 2, though they are slightly different in their delivery.
While playing the Battlegrounds activity, players can hunt down two new weapons: the solar-powered Aberrant Action missile weapon and the high-damage Corrasion Arc pulse rifle. Both weapons are part of the episodic Vex theme.
