According to a post on Disney's Media and Entertainment Blog, with the addition of Expanded Aspect Ratio, Disney+ subscribers will be able to enjoy a 1:90:1 aspect ratio, which offers up to 26 percent more picture for certain sequences. This means more action is displayed for a more immersive experience.

The 13 films that will support the IMAX format are Iron Man, both Guardians of the Galaxy films, Captain America: Civil War and Black Widow. Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings will also be available in Expanded Aspect Ratio when they premiere on Disney+ on November 12.

Disney does note that the availability of its content varies by region, so not every subscriber will be able to watch these films in IMAX format. However, the post fails to mention which regions will not have the content.
