Since launch, Disney Dreamlight Valley has consistently delighted players with new content. So far in 2024, two free Realms and five new characters have been added, as well as updates to Scrooge McDuck’s Store, Furniture Mode, and DreamSnaps. But all of that pales in comparison to one feature that fans have repeatedly requested: a search function.

Players have been asking for this feature for months, and it’s finally here! The search function makes it much easier to interact with your inventory, especially as the number of items in the game continues to grow. Until now, finding specific items in the furniture menu was a tedious task, often requiring players to scroll through hundreds of items. Clothing was a bit easier to find, but still required a lot of scrolling.

Honestly, it's one of the most annoying things in the game.

This new search function allows players to quickly and easily find what they’re looking for, making decorating and organizing their Valley much less time-consuming. No more endless scrolling or guessing what category an item might fall into – simply type in what you need and voila!
