Disney SKY ROCKETS Streaming Subscription Prices Rise Ahead of Earnings Report: Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Up 25%!

Disney provided more insight into the streaming service’s celebrated profitability in a Bob Iger-scripted speech this morning after the results. And it’s not just the new content that’s drawing people to the service.

According to the notes, which mark a change from the way Disney normally reports its earnings figures, the 2015 original Inside Out film was responsible for 1.3 million Disney+ signups in the quarter.

Inside Out 2 premiered on June 14 before an explosive final two weeks of the quarter, and the Pixar film, now the highest-grossing animated film of all time, has earned $1.56 billion in the global box office. Inside Out has meanwhile racked up 100 million global views on Disney+ since the Inside Out 2 teaser trailer dropped.
