Trump Recounts Assassination Attempt During RNC Speech
UPDATE: Donald Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention ended Thursday night in Milwaukee after an hour and 32 minutes. That’s a record length for a modern convention speech, which on the East Coast lasted past midnight.
Trump delivered what was billed as a new tone speech, saying the “discord and division” in the country “must be healed,” but he also went on to mock “crazy Nancy Pelosi” and an extensive tirade about migrants.
Chris Wallace said on CNN: "I can't help but think that the people who are going to be happiest tonight are not the people at Trump's headquarters, they're the Democrats. Maybe the people at Biden's headquarters. Maybe the people who think that they are going to replace Joe Biden."
