Dwayne Johnson has announced that a live-action Monster Jam movie is in the works.

On Friday, August 9, 2024, Johnson and Disney's Alan Bergman announced that a Monster Jam film is in development. The film will "capitalize on the popularity of Monster Jam truck rallies and celebrate the world's largest motorsports event."

Johnson will produce the film through his label Seven Bucks Production.

“We had the opportunity here to create something that’s immersive, cool and fun, and also a live-action experience for our families around the world, from the perspective of these incredible, iconic monster trucks and their very eccentric and crazy drivers,” Johnson said, via Variety. “Ladies and gentlemen, Monster Jam is going to be one hell of a ride.”
