The server issues during early access are telling: fans were eager to play College Football 25 as soon as possible, many upgrading their consoles to experience the authenticity we expect from EA Sports titles.
While College Football 25 certainly doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it does meet the expectations of a passionate fanbase to breathe new life into the series and become a serious rival to Madden.
Many players, myself included, were concerned to see EA Sports at the helm of the title due to their longstanding NFL partnership with the Madden franchise. The fear was that College Football 25 would simply be a carbon copy of Madden, with the only difference being different players and teams.
