Elon Musk has responded to Don Lemon's lawsuit, which accuses him and X of fraud, negligence and reputational damage following the abrupt termination of a content partnership earlier this year.

“He made a series of impressively insane demands. We refused. Therefore, there was no deal,” Musk wrote on X this morning.

But according to Lemons' complaint, there was indeed a deal.

As part of his new online series, Lemon interviewed Musk on March 8, but a day later Musk informed Lemon's agent that the deal was off, with the "contract canceled," according to the lawsuit. The interview was at times contentious, as Lemon pressed Musk about his past drug use and his embrace of the Great Replacement Theory.
