The European Championship and the Copa América tournament both came to dramatic ends on Sunday, with further record-breaking attendances for the final matches.

Spain defeated England in what is now the most-watched non-World Cup soccer broadcast in Fox history with 6.4 million viewers, the largest audience ever for a Euro broadcast on American English-language TV.

Later in the day, Argentina defeated Colombia in the Copa América final, which was watched by 6 million viewers. It also set a record for the tournament’s English-speaking U.S. audience, and is Fox’s second-most-watched non-World Cup soccer broadcast after the European Championship final.

On Fox and FS1, the Euro Championship averaged 1.7 million viewers, up 34% on 2021. Meanwhile, Copa América saw an impressive 359% growth with an average of 1.4 million viewers. Both tournaments are now the most-watched tournaments in English-language TV history.
