Apple is reportedly on track to release a redesigned iPad mini this fall, and is reportedly working on a new iMac model using Apple Silicon.

According to 9to5Mac, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has said that the new iPad mini that many have been speculating about will likely launch this fall. Gurman also said that Apple is working on a new iMac that uses Apple Silicon to replace the Intel-based 27-inch models, though there is no tentative release date for this new iMac yet.
Gurman said the updated iPad mini will use the latest processor, possibly referring to Apple's A14 Bionic processor, which is currently used in the iPhone 12 and fourth-generation iPad Air. The overall design of the new iPad Mini is also said to be similar to the more recent iPad Air models.
Additionally, there is speculation that the new iPad mini will have a size between 8.5 and 9 inches, which would be quite close to the dimensions of the original 9.7-inch iPad.
