The latest evidence that AI isn’t quite ready to take over our Fortnite lobbies, let alone the world, comes from Reddit user u/johnnyratface. The clip shows three bots from the same team all huddled in a doorway of a building, seemingly unable to get out. As soon as u/johnnyratface gets close, the shooting commences. And boy, do the bots shoot. In what can only be described as a pretty solid Stormtrooper imitation, they shoot at pretty much everything except… you know, the enemy.

Some players suggested killing as many bots as possible in the hopes that the original poster (OP) would be placed in lobbies with fewer bots and more people. Others suggested just enjoying the dumb AI for as long as it took before they ended up in lobbies full of expert-level players.
