Fran is an associate editor in the commerce team, where she helps manage product testing activities and research, create and edit copy. She has been contributing to the brand since March 2020. Previously, she spent five years at an IT media company as a copy editor and associate site editor.

Born in the Philippines, Fran has lived in three countries and six states before finally settling in New York City. Her travels have made her an avid foodie (currently in her Vietnamese cooking phase). Before joining Dotdash Meredith, Fran worked at TechTarget, an IT media company, where she served as a copy editor and associate editor for five years, covering topics such as IT leadership, IT security, compliance, and more. Outside of work, you can find her performing in various virtual theater performances or searching for the next best coffee shop and vegan restaurant in NYC.
Fran holds a BA in English from Northeastern University and an MFA in Drama from East 15 Acting School.
