Now that April is here and the April Fools' jokes have died down, Microsoft has released its schedule of Game Pass launches over the next few weeks. It's a lineup that includes the next big Minecraft spinoff, a few other semi-recent releases, and an unexpected throwback to the Xbox Live Arcade days of mid-2010.
'Minecraft Legends' is a notable outlier, as it's releasing on Game Pass on the same day as its worldwide release. It also takes the open-world, survival-driven gameplay of the original game and transforms it into a team-based multiplayer action game where both strategy and skill are key.
'Ghostwire: Tokyo', on the other hand, is a first-person action film with some horror elements that sees you exploring (and trying to repair) a devastated Tokyo overrun by supernatural creatures. While 'NHL 23' is, well, NHL for 2023, it does put you in control of current National Hockey League teams.
