On July 2nd, a Redditor asked the community what they thought of the new endgame mode, and the post was flooded with negative responses. It seems that players are unhappy with the new mode because it is limited to only three elements and characters that you don't like.
The Imaginarium Theater is a new combat-focused endgame mode in Genshin that you can unlock in the first nation of Teyvat—Mondstadt. It refreshes monthly. While the mode changes every month, players have been unhappy with the current selection of elements: Pyro, Electro, and Anemo.
"I hate any game mode that auto-bans your characters, this is especially bad in gacha. What do you mean the C6 Ayaka I spent almost a thousand dollars on is completely unplayable? At least in Spiral Abyss I can brute force her even when opponents aren't optimal for her," one player said on Genshin's subreddit.
