As part of Google I/O on Wednesday, the company unveiled the second beta of Android 15, which brings a slew of improvements across its product lineup, from phones to watches to TVs. Many of the new updates include the company’s new Gemini AI technology, which makes everything faster and more powerful.

The team shared a number of things on Monday, including the arrival of Circle to Search for homework help, a Gemini overlay in Android itself, and clearer descriptions in Talkback, a way for people with visual impairments to interact with their mobile devices.

Today, however, Google is taking things a step further and introducing 10 new features to Android 15, including Private Space, Theft Detection Lock, Play Protect, and many more augmented reality features.

Private Space is a new way to create a separate environment on your Android device that requires a second authentication to access. It’s a way to keep more private things even more private than just on your phone, and it includes a separate notification system for those private apps and a way to hide their existence altogether.
