Google is rolling out an update to the mobile version of Photos that changes the layout, making it easier to organize your files and browse albums.

Here's how to recover your Google storage space forever… for free!

Google revealed that the Library tab is getting a new grid-like layout with large thumbnails that you can scroll through and then filter your photos by type. Other changes include a new "import photos" feature, new sections in the Share tab, and a separate location for screenshots.

Google wants to make organizing your Photos account easier, since the app can be a hodgepodge of images, videos, and screenshots thrown into a digital pile. In addition to the grid layout, you can organize your Library by filtering by albums, favorites, and folders on your device.

Screenshots uploaded to Photos will have a new shortcut at the top of the app. From there, you can back up the screenshots and place them in the appropriate folder.
