Google has introduced some exciting new features to Google Search powered by Gemini. These upgrades are designed to make finding information faster and easier for everyone.
Upgrade Google Search with AI Summary: Enable the AI summary feature in your search results
AI Overview is what Google is calling its new summary of search results. No more digging through pages of links—the best content is collected for you at the top of the page. Previously limited to a select group, this feature is now rolling out to everyone in the US, with more countries coming soon.
You can also customize the summary to see a simpler answer if you don't quite understand it, or a more complex answer if you need more detail. And unlike traditional search, you no longer have to enter each query individually: Google's new "multi-step reasoning capabilities" let you enter multiple requests at once.
Now you can plan your trips or meals right from the search results page, complete with daily details or ingredients for your grocery list. And it’s all easily editable, so you can adjust your plans without starting from scratch.
