Hades was critically acclaimed and quickly became one of the best roguelike games of all time. But now, for the first time, Supergiant Games is making a sequel to one of their games: Hades II.

Hades II was revealed during the Games Award 2022 and will follow a new character, not Zagreus. In Greek mythology, Hades, the father of Zagreus, also had a daughter named Melinoë. However, it is currently unknown whether this is the daughter of Hades or the daughter of Zagreus.

What is known is that Hades II will take the very popular gameplay of Hades and return. The game looks extremely similar, but we expect new mechanics, features and a new villain in Chronus.
