The search for the next Harry, Ron and Hermione has begun.

HBO has opened a casting call for the three stars of the upcoming “Harry Potter” TV series. Fans saw the announcement circulating online Monday, and HBO confirmed its authenticity to Variety.
The casting call is seeking children aged 9-11 in April 2025 who are resident in the UK and Ireland. The announcement also states that the casting will be inclusive of all races, ethnicities and gender identities.
“We are committed to inclusive, diverse casting,” it says. “For each role, submit qualified performers regardless of ethnicity, gender, disability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis protected by law, unless otherwise specifically noted.”
