Hassan Riggs has one goal in mind with his tech startup: to make real estate agents more money.

Riggs is the founder of Smart Alto, a qualifying and appointment platform designed to help agents make extra money every year. The company’s platform integrates with agents’ lead sources, pre-screens new leads, filters out false applications, sends targeted text messages to the right leads at the right time, and ultimately enables agents to schedule five times more appointments than they would on their own, Riggs told Lifewire in a phone interview.

“When I was in college, I worked in real estate, so I knew that agents often didn’t have the time to continually follow up on online leads,” he said.

“This idea was always in the back of my mind. Then in 2017, a buddy and I started Smart Alto because I knew this problem existed and we wanted to help brokers who were already doing well take their business to the next level.”
