Helldivers 2 is still going strong, as the game is dominating the US sales charts, taking the number two spot in April, holding the same position as in March. The game has outsold many well-known titles, including Modern Warfare 3 and Sea of Thieves.

In addition to Helldivers 2’s strong position in the charts, Arrowhead’s title remains the best-selling premium game of the year so far. Furthermore, the game retained its second place from March, despite dollar sales in April dropping by over 70% (compared to March). For the month of April, PlayStation exclusive Stellar Blade is the best-selling title, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 coming in just behind Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2 is undoubtedly a hit on PlayStation, as the game still sits in the top 10 of active PlayStation users at number 5 in April (up from number 6 in March). Additionally, it also topped the active user charts on Steam in April. It’s still unclear whether it will remain at the top in May following the PSN account linking controversy earlier this month, though Sony has since reversed its decision. It will certainly be interesting to see whether it stays at the top or drops a spot or two.
