Ever since Helldivers 2 became a huge success on PlayStation and PC, gamers have been demanding the game to be released on Xbox consoles. And it seems Arrowhead Game Studios is not sitting still either.
Xbox players READY to play HELLDIVERS 2
First reported by Loadout, on the latest episode of the XboxEra Podcast, co-host Nick "Spheshal" Baker shared a rumor indicating that there may be "very, very early preliminary discussions" about the possibility of Helldivers 2 getting an Xbox port. Baker also emphasized that the departure of now-ex-PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan will likely encourage this development, as the new CEO may be "more open-minded about certain things."
Following this interesting tidbit, XboxEra co-founder Jon Clarke further fueled the discussion by saying that Helldivers 2 is “the most Xbox-like game that PlayStation has ever made.”
"It's an absolute blast," Clarke said, commenting on the success. "I would recommend anyone to try that out if you have a good group of friends."
