UPDATED with AMPTP Statement: Hollywood Basic Crafts has reached a deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, overwhelmingly ratifying their new three-year contracts with the studios.
Teamsters, Basic Crafts unions reach preliminary agreement on new contract
The new agreements include the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 399 (IBT), International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 40 (IBEW), Laborers International Union of North America Local 724 (LiUNA!), Operating Plasterers & Cement Masons International Association (OPCMIA) Local 755 and United Association Plumbers Local 78 (UA).
The Teamsters Local 399 Black Book Agreement received 96% approval, while the Location Manager Agreement received 98% approval. Both had more than 80% turnout, according to the Teamsters.
LiUNA! Local 724 had a 96.36% yes vote on the contract, IBEW Local 40 had 92.4%, OPCMIA Local 755 saw 97%, and UA Local 78 had 97.14%.
