The four House committees will invite former President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Ronald Dela Rosa for a joint investigation into the illegal activities of the Philippine Offshore Gaming Corp. (POGO), the distribution of illegal drugs and extrajudicial killings during the previous administration's war on drugs.

The House Committees on Dangerous Drugs chaired by Surigao del Norte Robert Ace Barbers, on Human Rights chaired by Manila Rep. Bienvenido Abante, on Public Order and Safety chaired by Santa Rosa Rep. Dan Fernandez and on Public Accounts chaired by Abang Lingkod party-list Rep. Joseph Stephen Paduano will conduct the investigation. The four faced the media on Wednesday, along with Antipolo City Rep. Romeo Acop.
Barbers said the creation of the Quad Commission is “historic in the sense that this is the first time” that four commissions will conduct a joint investigation.
When asked if Duterte would be invited, Barbers replied: “Yes, we will invite the former president to enlighten us on the issue of the war on drugs.”
