The Fabricator can unlock many new tools and items for you in Pacific Drive, such as a handy flashlight, but it is useless without Energy. Each blueprint requires a specific type and amount of Energy to be printed. Here's how to get some!

Pacific Drive – Beginners Guide – Spoiler Free – Top 25 Tips for Beginners

After you unlock the Fabricator and complete your first official Drive, you can start printing blueprints for new items. To do this, you'll need to have the right requirements and enough energy stored up.

The type and amount of energy required for a blueprint is displayed on the right side of the Fabrication screen. Your total energy is displayed on the left. There are three different types of energy you can obtain from your Drive: Stable, Unstable, and Corrupt. The more upgraded and further into the blueprint, the more complex the energy required.

You can collect energy as you complete your Drives, and you'll undoubtedly gain some from each Drive without even realizing it. This is because energy is collected via Anchor Points. When you open an exit in a Drive, you must collect the Anchors at these points and store them in your ARC Device in your car. This not only allows you to warp back to the Auto Shop, but also stores that energy to use at the Fabrication Station.
