Solving puzzles is a big part of Hogwarts Legacy, and one of those tricky puzzles comes in the form of a sundial. This puzzle comes during one of the final missions for Poppy. There’s a lot to do besides the sundial, including things involving statues, lights, and symbols. This may sound really complicated and difficult to do, but don’t worry. This guide will give you all the steps you need to take to complete this mission and enter the Ruins.

When you get there, you first need to check the symbols on the locked doors. You need to notice which symbols light up. Once you have noticed or remembered that the symbols light up, go to the sundial
This Sundial area will have two pillars, it will also have symbols on the ground around these pillars. You need to find your two symbols that were lit up by the door to solve this Sundial puzzle. Once you have found the symbols, go to the other side of the first symbol. Cast Accio on the closest pillar to it and move it directly across from this symbol. There will be a round slot that the pillar fits perfectly into, this is where the pillar needs to be.
For the second symbol you need to do exactly the same thing. This time however you need to pull the other pillar instead of the first one. Once you have both pillars in place they will be open when you look back at the doors. You can now enter the ruins and the Sundial puzzle is solved.
