In any survival crafting game you'll need to craft tools and a home, but in Soulmask you can also count on the help of loyal tribesmen to quickly set up and keep your base running.
How to assign tasks to tribe members in Soulmask
Tribe members can be unlocked fairly quickly in Soulmask, and while they can serve as loyal traveling companions, their true potential lies in work around the base. There are a number of jobs or tasks that can be done by tribe members, and the NPC allies are surprisingly self-sufficient, meaning you can automate tasks as you adventure and explore.
Your first tribe member will approach you after you build your first large campfire. The campfire becomes available after you complete the first few quests that appear in the guidance window on the screen, which serve as impromptu tutorials. After the campfire is built, they will approach you and ask to join.
To assign jobs or tasks to clan members, press the I button to open the Clan menu. In this menu, you can view, edit, and assign jobs to all of your clan members. You’ll notice several icons on a clan member’s bar, which indicate different traits and origins that affect their behavior. You can also see their skills, which will increase over time as they complete tasks. On a clan member’s bar, click the hammer and anvil icon in the top row to open their job page.
